Ribbon Partners with Cambrist to Streamline Cross-Border Payments Compliance

Ribbon, the carbon neutral financial services super app, today announced a partnership with Cambrist, a market-leading SaaS platform for managing and simplifying card payments data. This collaboration enables Ribbon to seamlessly comply with the EU Cross-border Payments Regulations (EU2019/518) for its recently launched debit cards.

Ribbon’s integration with Cambrist’s Notify service provides real-time access to European Central Bank (ECB) and card scheme currency rates, ensuring transparency in card FX costs for customers in the UK and ultimately across Europe. This integration is integral to Ribbon’s debit card program from day one, ensuring compliance with CBPR2 regulations from the outset.
