Pliant extends Data Services agreement with Cambrist

Pliant, the innovative business-to-business (B2B) credit card platform from Germany, has extended its Data Services agreement with Cambrist, one of Ireland’s leading fintech companies. Following their recent capital raise and the granting of their e-money license, Pliant are expanding their services into the UK other European markets.

As part of this expansion, Cambrist is providing currency data services to Pliant to support compliance with the European cross-border payment (CBPR2) regulation. Cambrist’s Notify solution for CBPR2 Compliance provides a single connection via API from which Pliant can access all of the exchange rates and calculations required for its full compliance with the CBPR2 (EU2019/518) regulations in all of the major currencies.

Jeremy Boles, Cambrist's Head of Fintech Sales & Partnerships said, “We are delighted to extend the scope of our services with Pliant and support their continued success. Cambrist provides a range of data services for payments businesses to solve complex data reporting and reconciliation challenges across the card payments industry including Notify which is our simple solution for the FX Transparency regulations.”

Fabian Terner, Pliant’s Co-Founder and CPO/COO said, “Cambrist is a valued partner, and we are excited to continue working together. This extended agreement will support our expansion into new currencies and ensure we meet our regulatory requirements under CBPR2”
